Blu-ray is Going to Win the Content War

Blu-ray is closing the gap week after week. The count is now 153 HD DVD vs. 147 Blu-ray! Twelve more titles are being released today in the Blu-ray format. HD DVD is releasing only two. On those two movies, Black Rain is one of the movies also released in Blu-Ray. This means only one exclusive movie for the HD DVD format.

The HD DVD camp will have to do something really fast because in the consumer’s mind the energy produced by Blu-ray studios right now will burn the idea that Blu-ray is the winning format.

Universal finally gave us information on future release but they announced only four upcoming titles for 2007. They said that The Jerk and The Game were going to be released in April.
