New Blu-ray and HD DVD Movies Available Today

We the announcement of 100 new HD DVD titles from Universal in 2007, the war will continue a bit longer than what we expected. But it looks like the content war will benefit to the consumer eventually. The number of titles available in both formats will give a good choice of movies to the consumer before the year’s end.

In the meantime, HD DVD and Blu-ray are almost equal in quantity. HD DVD is at 156 movies and Blu-ray is now at 152 movies available as of today. Both formats should be tied next week.

Warner continues to lead the way in both camps this week with Beerfest and The Wicker Man, both worth catching.
