Do you remember last December when we told you Amazon was taking $300 off the Samsung BD-P1000 Blu-ray player?

Well, Amazon [affiliate] is doing it again, but this time they slashed $400 off the retail price. That means you can now buy the Blu-ray player for $499. Shipping included.

Blu-ray and HD DVD gears all have price cuts these days. If the trend keeps the pace, we should have decent prices for HD players before the next Holiday season!
