New CyberLink Software Lets You Burn Blu-ray Discs

If you find yourself in need of authoring to a Blu-ray Disc and have a Blu-ray burner handy, you of course still need software. CyberLink has announced the release of PowerProducer5 and one of the versions of this authoring software supports the creation of Blu-ray Discs.

CyberLink said PowerProducer 5 Ultra ($80) is designed to capture video from an external source, let you make edits to that video and then burn it to a number of disc formats, including Blu-ray BD-RE and BD-R. This particular version of PowerProducer is BD-RE 3.0 certified so you can rerecord and append Blu-ray Discs, as well as create menus.
