This Week's Major Blu-ray Disc Releases.

Let's take a look at the Blu-ray discs hitting the shelves between the 22nd and the 28th of December. It may be Christmas week, but there's still some good ones!

US Releases.

Ghost Town - 27th December 2008.
Comedy starring Ricky Gervais and Greg Kinnear. The disc has a commentary with Gervais and writer David Koepp.

Resident Evil: Degeneration - 27th December 2008.
Animated sequel to the live-action horror/thrillers. This is a BD-Live enabled disc and includes interactive picture-in-picture sequences.

Eagle Eye - 27th December 2008.
Thriller starring Shia LaBeouf and Michelle Monaghan. Plenty of full-HD extras on the disc too.

Duchess - 27th December 2008.
Period drama with Keira Knightley.

UK releases.

Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid - 25th December 2008.
Classic western with Paul Newman and Robert Redford.

The Love Guru - 26th December 2008.
A comedy starring Mike Myers.

The Strangers - 26th December 2008.
Suspense thriller starring Liv Tyler.
