This Week's Blu-ray Movie Releases - 1st April

Marley & Me Here's a mid-week look at what's new on Blu-ray!

US Releases 31st March

Slumdog Millionaire
We previewed Danny Boyle's Oscar winner a while back and the spec has remained the same, with disc two housing a digital copy of the movie.

Marley & Me - 3-Disc Bad Dog Edition
When will they stop with the stupid sub-titles?  Disc one and two contain the movie and a selection of extra's, and disc three has a digital copy.

Bedtime Stories
This is another all-in-one pack, with a Blu-ray, DVD and digital copy of Adam Sandler's fantasy tale.

Seven Pounds
Will Smith stars in this drama which has a director's commentary and a digital copy included.

South Pacific - 50th Anniversary Edition.
Two disc version of the much-loved 50s musical classic.  Disc two has an extended 'Road Show' version of the film along with several documentaries and interviews.

Two Evil Eyes
Blue Underground present two horror tales directed by George A. Romero and Dario Argento.

American in Paris
More musical fun out this week, this time with Gene Kelly as an American painter living in Paris.

Ghosts of Mars
John Carpenter returns to sci-fi, this time with Natasha Henstridge as a Mars Police Officer.  Some say he shouldn't have bothered.  Both Henstridge and Carpenter provide a commentary.

The Matrix - 10th Anniversary
We love the cover art for this single release of the hugely influential sci-fi movie.

The One
Jet Li- does time travel.

The US also gets Tell No One, Gigi and Jeff Beck: Performing this Week Live at Ronnie Scott's.

UK Releases for 30th March

The Bourne Trilogy
All three Jason Bourne movies, Identity, Supremacy and Ultimatum are released separately on Blu-ray this week.

The Fast and Furious Trilogy
All three F&F movies, The Fast and the Furious, 2 Fast 2 Furious and Tokyo Drift are also released separately.

Changeling
Clint Eastwood's superb thriller with Angelina Jolie and John Malkovich.

Body of Lies
Ridley Scott directs Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe.

The Children
Horror set on New Year's Eve where children mysteriously start to attack adults.  A commentary and making-of documentary are included.

Lakeview Terrace
Samuel L. Jackson stars in this racially charged, class-based thriller.

My Best Friend's Girl
Its Kate Hudson and Dane Cook.  Do you need to know more?

The Quick and the Dead
Brilliant Sam Raimi directed Western with Gene Hackman, Sharon Stone and Russell Crowe.

Saw I and II.
The only Saw movies worth watching.
