Sony Tease and LG Please with New Blu-ray Products
If you spent between $10,000 and $12,000 on your Blu-ray collection, then coughing up another $2,300 or so probably won't be a stretch, but for us mere mortals whose Blu-ray library has only recently broken double figures, Sony's forthcoming 400-disc changer seems a little extravagant, regardless of whether we can load it up with our DVDs too.
The Sony BDP-CX7000ES was seen at several shows this year but a release date was never given. The Sony Insider blog believes its time is near though, and has even found the price quoted above - albiet in Swiss Francs - although converting it to dollars probably won't be an accurate representation of the final US price. Further spec rumours include a 500GB hard drive and BD-Live. Give us a few more months to build our collections, won't you Sony!
It has been left to LG to bring us back down to Earth with their comparitively well-priced BD390 Blu-ray player, which is yours for $449 retail. What makes this player unique is its support of 1080p HD DivX files and its wireless networking, letting you view CinemaNow, Netflix and YouTube videos directly onto your TV. In addition to BD-Live, 1GB of internal memory and the usual audio format support, the BD390 also has 7.1 analogue connections. You should be able to pick this new LG up off the shelves right now!

Hi, interesting post. I have been thinking about this topic,so thanks for blogging. I'll likely be coming back to your blog. Keep up great writing. More Blu Ray Player info's here.
