US Releases for 19th May.
A Bug's Life.
It's the Pixar movie which is often overshadowed by its better known brethren, but according to many, the beautiful transfer on to Blu-ray is likely to change that. The two-disc set has a digital copy and a selection of all-new animated sequences from the original treatment.
Terminator 2: Judgement Day - Skynet Edition.
It's the second outing for Terminator 2 on Blu-ray, this time featuring both cuts of the movie plus a DTS-HD audio track missing from the first release. Extras are culled from the many previous DVD editions.
Terminator 2: Judgment Day - Limited Skynet EndoSkull Edition.
Six discs are hidden inside a replica of the Terminator's endo-skeleton's skull. These discs are the new Skynet Blu-ray and the Extreme and Ultimate DVD editions. A digital copy is included too.
Valkyrie - Special Edition.
Bryan Singer's World War II movie with Tom Cruise includes a digital copy, a commentary with Cruise, Singer and Christopher McQuarrie, plus some featurettes on the style of the film.
My Bloody Valentine 3D.
A remake of one of the better slasher movies of the 80s, this time with the 3D process added even on the home release. A digital copy, commentary, a making-of featurette and BD-Live features are included as extras.
Fast Company.
Blue Underground give us the chance to catch up on the least-known of David Cronenberg's early movies.
Paul Blart: Mall Cop.
Featuring easily one of the most hateful cover-art images seen in years, this comedy stars Kevin James. A commentary and deleted scenes are among the extras.
The Machinist.
Brad Anderson's dark thriller is known for the skeletal appearance of its star Christian Bale, and this disc has several documentaries and deleted scenes.
Also out in the US this week is Enemy at the Gates, Three Days of the Condor and Paycheck. Follow the link for this weeks UK Blu-ray releases.
