Seth Rogen tries funny and creepy in the same movie, with mixed results. A digital copy joins some BD-Live material and a picture-in-picture commentary track. Ensure you take the HMV exclusive edition for the superior cover art pictured here.
The Prisoner: Complete Series.
Network DVD release their first Blu-ray and it contains all episodes of the cult TV series plus the feature length 'Don't Knock Yourself Out' documentary and so much more.
An American Werewolf in London.
This UK release contains the same material as the US release we covered here.
The Fringe: Season One.
The hit JJ Abrams science fiction TV series comes to HD.
Also released are The Elephant Man, The Deer Hunter, Friday: Director's Cut and Awaydays.
US Releases for the 29th September:
Monsters vs. Aliens.
There's plenty of HD bonus material on this fun animated adventure, including Blu-ray exclusives The Animator's Corner and a Trivia Track. Deleted scenes, a game and a karaoke music party also feature.
The Girlfriend Experience.
Steven Soderbergh's money-motivates-all tale of a call girl, played by adult actress Sasha Grey, has a commentary by the pair and an HDNet featurette. The disc is apparently the unrated, alternate cut.
The Dark Crystal.
The first of two 80s fantasy Blu-rays this week remains as technically impressive as it did on release. The extra features include a picture-in-picture storyboard track, a commentary and several documentaries on the creation of the world and the puppetry.
Labyrinth.
The big feature on this 80s fantasy is a picture-in-picture track with interviews by all the players and crew. There's also a commentary and a making-of documentary.
Also released are Snakes on a Plane, Bad Boy Bubby, Away We Go and Superman/Batman: Public Enemies.
