New 55" LCD Blu-ray BeoVision TV Coming to USA

If the Bang & Olufsen BeoVision 7-40 we covered back in May was a little on the small side, then the latest addition to their range should spike your interest.  The BeoVision 7-55 is as its name suggests, a 55" LCD TV, and like its smaller brother, it comes complete with a Blu-ray drive built-in, along with a lot of very cool TV tech.

For example, the LED backlight has local dimming for the best possible contrast, as well as motion compensation, progressive scanning and the ability to run at 120Hz, so there should be no issues with clarity at any time.  Mounted on the wall or one of B&O's super-flash motorized stands, the BeoVision 7-55 has a digital soundbar which doubles as a centre speaker in 5.1 systems and is matched with stereo amplified speakers.

More details are to follow, but perhaps the only detail most will need is the price, an eye-watering $18,700.  The new BeoVision 7-55 with built-in Blu-ray is out towards the end of November in the USA.
