This Week's New Blu-ray Releases - 10th November
The second week of November has begun, so here's our roundup of the latest Blu-rays out on general release, starting with the USA.
US Releases for the 10th November.
Up.
This four disc set includes a DVD and a digital copy of the movie. Extras include a new short film entitled Dug's Special Mission and the theatrical short film Partly Cloudy.
Monsters, Inc.
Like Up, this is also a four disc set with a DVD and a digital copy. New features centre around the Monster's Inc ride at the Japanese Disneyland, plus there are all the original DVD bonuses including the For the Birds short film.
Gremlins - 25th Anniversary Edition.
Long delayed, Joe Dante's super Christmas horror comedy comes with ten minutes of additional scenes, two commentaries and a making-of featurette.
Logan's Run.
70s sci-fi with Michael York and Jenny Agutter. A commentary track along with the original featurette are the only extra features.
Also released are Heat, Godzilla, Near Dark, Red Heat, Negotiator and The Ugly Truth.
UK Releases for the 9th November.
Bruno.
Larry Charles directs Sacha Baron Cohen's second assault on the USA. Alternate, deleted and extended scenes along with an enhanced commentary track, describing how the unscripted stunts were achieved, make up the bulk of the extras.
Forrest Gump
The UK gets the Sapphire Series release of Tom Hanks 1994 movie.
Night at the Museum 2: Escape from the Smithsonian.
The sequel comes as a three disc Blu, DVD and digital copy edition, with some retailers offering lenticular cover art.
Also released are The Descent, Negotiator, Heat and Walk the Line.
