This Week's New Blu-ray Releases - 24th November

It's that time of the week again!  If you're heading out to pick up a new Blu-ray, here is what you'll find on the shelves this week.

US Releases for the 24th November.

Funny People.

Judd Apatow's comedy comes in Rated and Unrated form in this 3-disc set.  There is a commentary, a documentary and Funny People Live stand-up set.

Monster Squad.

Fred Dekker's horror comedy gets a 20th Anniversary special edition complete with two commentaries and a five-part retrospective documentary.

Gomorrah.

Criterion does the business with this documentary-style movie on the violent and complex life of residents in Camorra-controlled Naples.  A 60-minute making-of is the standout bonus feature here.

Angels & Demons.

Ron Howard's follow-up to The Da Vinci Code can be watched in both theatrical and extended forms.

Also released are Four Christmases, Cujo, My Bloody Valentine, Angel Heart, Way of the Gun, Air America and Frailty.

UK Releases for the 23rd November.

Fight Club.

A repeat of the US version released last week with several exclusive Blu-ray features, including one on the brilliant sound design, to join the new HD transfer.

Terminator 4: Salvation.

McG's installment of the Terminator franchise was hardly the best, however the Blu-ray should look impressive enough.  Behind the scenes features, a set tour and a Maximum Movie Mode are among the extras.

Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs.

A Triple Play set with the Blu-ray, DVD and a digital copy inside. 

Also released are Godzilla and Sopranos: Series One.
