Sony is really pushing home 3D technology next year, with the news that they will be producing the 2010 World Cup in 3D with a view to releasing footage from the games on Blu-ray. Whether this will be game-by-game, highlights or some other documentary-style feature has yet to be confirmed, along with the release date.
The Simpsons Season 20.All 21 episodes of the 20th season will make its HD debut on the 12th January 2010 in the USA. The press release says that the Blu-ray will retail for a reasonable $59.99 and that the two-disc set will be available in a limited edition collectible pack.
Clash of the Titans.Ignoring the remake for the moment, here are some details of the Blu-ray release of the original version. The 1981 movie will be housed inside a Warner Digibook package and include a conversation with effects wizard Ray Harryhausen and a Maps of Myths and Monsters Gallery feature.
