CES 2010: Will Samsung Win the 3D Blu-ray Race?
A rumour has hit the wires concerning the hot topic of CES 2010, that of 3D products. It appears that Samsung may be the first to unveil a 3D compatible Blu-ray player in the form of the BD-C6900. Details are scarce given that its existence only came to be known via a CES distributed document which lists the player as 'the first 3D-compatible Blu-ray player in the world' under the Best Innovations 2010 award category.
Samsung should expect some heavy competition from their rivals, especially Sony who should be showing off the PS3's 3D capabilities, but it will be quite a coup if the C6900 does make it to market before anyone else. Then the big question will be, who will be the first to get a 3D TV onto the shelves to you have something to watch it on?
