Samsung C6900 3D Blu-ray Player Priced?
Remember the Samsung C6900? It was displayed at CES earlier in the month and was joined by the rumour that it could be the very first 3D Blu-ray player to be officially available. Earlier on today, online retailer Amazon must have jumped the gun when the C6900 appeared for pre-order on their site, wearing an actually quite reasonable $399 price tag.
Fair enough, it's more than most entry-level players and more than a PS3, but for a new piece of technology it's nowhere near as pricey as it could have been. The page was removed as quickly as it appeared, but it was up there long enough for Google to index it and it still appears on the first page when you search for the player!
Surprisingly, there is still little known about Samsung's flagship 3D player, with only snippets of information becoming available since CES. For example, we know it will have Wi-Fi built-in, Samsung's suite of streaming video content applications, plus a sub-30 second load time. Other than that, it's a mystery!
