Samsung 2010 Blu-ray Range Priced
Samsung has released its 2010 Blu-ray price list, including all their players currently on sale and those expected later on in the year. The prices were for the US market, but where UK prices are also known, they have been included on the relevant models:
BD-C5500 - $179/£159
Already on sale, this is a Profile 2.0 machine with both Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD decoding, 1080p, DVD upscaling, a USB socket and the ability to be upgraded from an Ethernet wired connection to a wireless Internet connection. This player, along with all the rest, gives access to Samsung's online streaming content too.
BD-C6500 - $249/£199
A step up from the C5500, this shares the same basic features but adds Wi-Fi and 7 channel analogue audio outputs as standard.
BD-C7500 - $349
A slick design complimented by a heavily glossed wood-like finish and a 1.1" thick chassis, which Samsung claim is the world's slimmest Blu-ray, makes the C7500 really standout. It can even be wall mounted! Samsung say the C7500 will be out during the first half of 2010.
BD-C6900 - $399/£349
Star of CES 2010, the 3D capable player leaked onto Amazon at this exact price, before being hastily removed. The player (pictured above) has a distinctive see-through disc cover and seems to share the same configuration as the C6500. The C6900 is expected to go on sale this month.
BD-C8000 - $499
This is Samsung's portable Blu-ray system with a 10.1" screen and built-in Wi-Fi. Spec is similar to the C5500 with 1080p, DVD upscaling, 2 channel analogue audio outputs, USB socket, HDMI and 1GB of storage. June is the month we can expect the C8000 to go on sale.

Can the htbd1250 blu-ray/dvd player be made to work multi-regional?
