Blu-ray: UK Steelbook Release for Robin Hood

Ridley Scott's Robin Hood received both positive and negative comments on its theatrical release, perhaps producing a tepid box office resulting in this quicker than expected home release. Robin Hood will be out in the UK on the 13th September and will be available as a standard edition and this, a steelbook release.

Both editions will include the theatrical cut and an extended Director's Cut of the movie, along with the following extra features:

Deleted scenes.
The Art of Nottingham.
Rise and Rise Again: The Making-of Ridley Scott's Robin.
Picture-in-Picture notebook feature on the theatrical cut of the film.

The cover-art is still listed as 'to be confirmed', but it looks pretty final to us, but we're not a big fan of steelbook covers with too much text, and this suffers from that affliction in the same way as the forthcoming Green Zone steelbook does.

There are no running times available for the bonus features, but a closer look at the provisional artwork reveals the bonus content will run for 'over 1 hour'. The disc is listed on HMV and Play.com for £17.99, or 8 pence cheaper at Amazon, and comes with a booklet too, although its contents are still a mystery.
