The Human Centipede Gets Very Limited Steelbook Release in UK

After having toured the festivals, the Daily Mail-baiting horror The Human Centipede is about to hit UK cinemas, plus the official site has announced the Blu-ray release for later on this year too.  The exact date wasn't included, but according to High Def Digest, the standard US sell-through edition will be out on the 4th October, however it's the UK special edition which we're most interested in.

If you sign up, you could be in with a chance of grabbing a Blu-ray/DVD combo set of The Human Centipede, all wrapped up in a Steelbook.  Best of all, this release will be limited to just 4000 copies worldwide!  The pack is priced at £24.99 and will include a T-shirt as a bonus, with an image that's sure to make it a popular choice for churchgoers.

Extra features are likely to include a making-of documentary, an interview with the director Tom Six, a casting featurette, a Foley session and a deleted scene, although there is talk that the UK edition will include some exclusive extras not found on the US disc too.

The site's terms and conditions do state that they need 'sufficient numbers of reservations' for the Steelbook to be produced, so go and register now!
